Before you answer that questions, let Bailey Tolios, Lead Spokes Kid for United Way of Trumbull County, break it down for you:

Bailey Tolios of Cortland has been selected to be the lead “spokes kid” for United Way of Trumbull County for 2020 through 2021.  She is featured in a short video found below where she breaks down how United Way connects all the right pieces – Donors, Volunteers, Advocates, Non-Profits, Counties and Governments –  to create an “AWESOME” community!

What does United Way do?

This video was created by Bailey's mom and UWTC volunteer Dana Warren-Tolios

of TCF Bank and in cooperation with the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health's

recommended best practices.

In addition to Bailey, Cadence Treich of Champion has also been awarded a spot as a UWTC spokes kid.   "I would like to help United Way because I would like to encourage people to help out our community," she exclaims.

Both girls will be volunteering and promoting UWTC in upcoming videos, marketing materials, and on social media to show case the good work being done in Trumbull County– especially for children and families. Another spokes kid will be announced by the end of the year to work along Bailey and Cadence for this high-profile project.

The project will include mentoring opportunities for the girls while giving them an opportunity to set an example for other young people in the community while showcasing their skills, talents, and enthusiasm to make a difference in Trumbull County.
