United Way of Trumbull County's partner agencies play the critical role of helping and serving thousands of individuals in the community each and every year. The mission of partner agency Solace Center is to provide child-focus services to children and their families as they recover from painful experiences. The Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange program provides support, guidance and assistance to families who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, divorce, separation or custody issues that can cause emotional stress and difficulties. A single mother served by the center stated, "Solace Center has taken away the anxiety and fear my children had. It's given me peace of mind." Solace Center is dedicated to serving the individuals of their community and providing a safe sanctuary for families to come together.
