It helps parents, caregivers and communities create quality engagement opportunities when visiting a local park. *

  • Caring Card Shower for nursing home and senior living residences (now through September 14, 2020)

Help lift the spirits of our elderly population by hosting a Caring Card Shower for nursing home and senior living residences in Trumbull County.  Due to heightened health, safety and welfare concerns, many elderly residents in particular are in social isolation—staying in their rooms or homes to avoid transmission.  However, by writing letters and cards and creating artwork for these individuals, you are helping boost their mental and physical health. Cards cannot be personalized for individuals, so use friendly salutations such as “Dear Friend,” “Hello,” and “Hi” to add warmth to your message. DOWNLOAD CARING CARDS or create your own.  Mail completed cards to UNITED WAY OF TRUMBULL COUNTY at 3601 Youngstown Road, Warren, Ohio 44484 for distribution.
