2020-21 Request for Funding Proposals

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the final date to apply has been extended to APRIL 17, 2020, by 12 pm.

In early 2019, United Way of Trumbull County announced a new strategic focus -- United in Helping Children and Families Thrive. 

 

Under this new focus, UWTC will make funding decisions that specifically focus on the following:

  • Learn Well - Improving learning and enrichment experiences and offer educational opportunities.

  • Earn Well - Fostering programs and services that promote self-sufficiency and financial stability.

  • Stay Well - Ensuring basic needs are met.

Criteria for organizations applying for funding:

  • The applying organization has been in business for at least 2 years.

  • It is governed by a voluntary board of directors that consists of members from the general community.

  • It has committed some of its own resources to the program.

  • An outcome measurement system in place for the program.

  • The applying organization agrees to conduct a United Way of Trumbull County workplace campaign.

 

Required eligibility documents:

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy/non-discrimination policies

  • Organization's most recent 990

  • Organization's most recent audit and/or financial report

  • Organization's 501(c)3 IRS Confirmation letter

  • Liability Insurance

  • Directors and Officers Insurance
