United Way funds over 20 programs in Trumbull County to help individuals, children, and families LEARN WELL, EARN WELL, and STAY WELL. Click here for an updated listing of our funded partner agencies. Remember, you may designate your donation to any 501(C)3 of your choice. Those of you live outside of Trumbull County can use this option to support programs in your local community.​

The Born Learning Trail

7 17 has been instrumental in helping United Way of Trumbull County bring a Born Learning Trail to Perkins Park in Warren, Ohio by providing both financial support and volunteers.   Born Learning Trails encourage the growth and stimulation needed so that children can learn as they play. The trail is a series of 14 interactive signs that offer fun active learning activities for young children and their families.

Reading Great by 8

Reading Great by 8 is an initiative led by  United Way of Trumbull County to help kids read at grade level by grade 3. Two of the programs are completed in the summer to help students transitioning from kindergarten to first grade and from second grade to third grade.  The third program helps demonstrate that reading is fun!  Reading at grade level by grade 3 is important to a child's success in school and later in life.

Ohio Governor's Imagination Libray

Through a partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, United Way of Trumbull County has partnered with the Ohio Governor's initiative to put more books in the hands of Ohio’s children to ensure that every student enters kindergarten ready to succeed. We currently have over 3200 children from age 0 through age 4 enrolled in the program.
