85th Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon

United Way of Trumbull County recognized volunteers and contributors, and reported on the past year’s activities as approximately 170 community leaders and volunteers attended its 85th annual meeting on May 29th at Leo’s Ristorante.

Donald E. Moore, vice president, Midwest Trumco Insurance Agency, and chairman of the United Way board, highlighted accomplishments and recognized the efforts of volunteers, contributors, service providers, and staff, as well as 14 past voluntary leaders who were recognized as “United Way Ambassadors”.

Moore cited growth in the United Way’s community impact efforts, as well as collaborations with other caring systems to bring about solutions to our community’s most pressing human service issues. He emphasized, “What matters is not merely the number of clients served, it’s the results – the successful and lasting outcomes that can be achieved for the betterment of our community.”
