The 2008 Campaign for the United Way of Trumbull County is underway. Our goal this year is to raise $1.55 million. So far we have raised $420,617 to date. With your support, and the support of other individuals and local businesses, we can reach our goal and help those in need in our community.

Join the Caring Club for 2009

Campaign 2008 "Opening Pitch"


United Way of Trumbull County began its 2008 fund-raising appeal to support local health and human service programs with an “Opening Pitch” event during the Mahoning Valley Scrappers game on Sept. 3rd at Eastwood Field.

W. Dallas Woodall, a partner with the law firm of Letson, Griffith, Woodall, Lavelle, and Rosenberg, and chairman of the United Way appeal, addressed the many campaign volunteers, service-provider representatives, and fans in attendance.

Woodall described the Campaign 2008 goal as, “an effort to raise more than the previous year” or more than $1.55 million to help fund essential programs and services. He announced that $310,600 has already been raised through early solicitation efforts, including results from sixteen pacesetter organizations.
